Chandipur is nestled in the Baleswar(Balesore) District of the state of Odisha, India. Located along the Bay of Bengal at an average elevation of 3 m, the Beach houses a rich variety of bio-diversity. Horseshoe crab is found towards fishing market and community of Mirzapur which is located at the confluence of the Budhabalanga River.
The beach is also home to the Integrated Test Range of the Indian Army. An array of missiles such as Akash, Shaurya, Agni and Prithvi ballistic missiles has been launched from the ITR.

By Rail :- Baleswar (Balesore) railway station located at a distance of 16 km is the nearest railway station to Chandipur. It is well-connected to the major cities of India such as Chennai, Howrah, Kolkata, Puri, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, New Delhi and Jaipur via an active railway network.
By Road :- Chandipur is actively connected to Bhubaneshwar via an active network of numerous sate run and private bus services.
October to March is the best time to visit Chandipur Beach as the climate remains pleasant during these seasons.
